Vision 21 is the EPC’s strategic plan for the first decade of the 21st Century. It is a vision of what we believe God could do by His grace through the EPC if we will step out in faith and plan for new growth and opportunities. In the plan itself you will find a history of how it began, the process that developed it and the results.
Vision 21 was introduced to the 20th General Assembly, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the EPC. During the ensuing year it was circulated throughout the church and received the overwhelming affirmation of the presbyteries. Vision 21 was finally adopted in full with the unanimous endorsement of the 21st General Assembly in June 2001.
A great vision is never realized through the foresight or the efforts of a few. It calls for everyone to do their best. Vision 21 challenges presbyteries, churches and individuals in a broad variety of ways. It calls for resources, but much more so it calls for energy and the investment of time.
Whether you are interested in learning more about Vision 21 or ready to ask yourself “What can I do?” you’ll find both here.
