LIFE, AD&D, AND DISABILITY PLANS
The EPC offers eligible employees a $50,000 Term Life Insurance policy (decreases after the age of 65). An Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance policy is also included and is equal to the amount of the life insurance benefit.
The Long-Term Disability Insurance coverage provides 60 percent of qualified earnings (up to $4,000/month) after 90 days of total disability. In addition, Ability Assist Counseling Services are available at no additional cost. These services include emotional or work-life counseling; financial information and resources; and legal support and resources.
New for 2018: The Life and AD&D policy is now bundled with the Long-Term Disability policy.
Employees are eligible for Employee coverage on the first day of employment.
