2018 GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining FORWARD to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14 ESV).

A key strategy for the future of the EPC is creating a leadership development culture with the goal of long-term, sustainable, transformational growth. The fourth annual Leadership Institute is the premier building block to implementing that strategy. This year, 14 tracks provide a wide variety of options that can help you hone your ministry skills.

The following proposed amendments to the EPC’s Book of Government were approved by the 37th General Assembly. All constitutional amendments are sent to the presbyteries for vote. If approved by 11 of the 14 EPC presbyteries (75 percent), the amendments come to the 2018 General Assembly for ratification. These four Overtures received the required approval.
To amend Book of Government 9-6A and 10-8B.2a to specify the term of service for an out-of-bounds call to be for a renewable term of up to three years, bringing consistency to the two sections.
