2022 VISION PLAN
Vision benefits for 2022 offers plan participants with savings and flexibility with access to more than 81,000 access points of care, including independent practitioners, retail optical shops, and big box retailers. Within the network, you have the freedom to choose who examines your eyes and where you buy your eyewear. NVA reduces member’s out-of-pocket expenses through special discounts and programs such as the EyeEssentials discount plan for purchases made beyond normal coverages. The SmartBuyer tool includes guides to help you make informed decisions to both maximize your benefit value and minimize your out-of-pocket costs as you navigate the maze of eyewear options.

YOUR PROVIDER IS NOT IN THE NVA NETWORK?
If your current eye doctor is not in-network and you would like to nominate them to join, then follow these steps:
1. Obtain the eye doctor’s name, address, and phone number.
2. Email benefits@epc.org and let them know you would like to nominate a provider that is not in the NVA network. Provide the information from step 1.
3. Make sure to include your contact information.
Our EPC Benefits team will then provide the information to NVA, who will let our team know the status of the provider within 7 days after NVA has contacted the Provider. Our team will let you know as soon as we find out the status.
*Please note that nominating a provider does not guarantee participation.
